The Chaba Cabana is a beautiful resort. The staff were fantastic, super friendly and happy to help with anything. Breakfast was surprisingly great! A good sized spread with the usual options of bacon, egg station, breads, fruits, juices, etc, As well as a few different options that changed every morning. They have fantastic coffee with breakfast as well! A special thank you to the lovely Jampen who was absolutely lovely, a delight to see every morning and brought us delicious coffee every day! The room was spacious, comfortable and well set up. Cute little balcony. Our only cons for the resort are it's just too far from the centre. They have a shuttle that takes you in or picks you up but this only runs 3 times a day (they can still take you in other times but you have to pay). The last one is at 4pm, so if you want to go in for dinner, you have to go in early and make your own way back. I think for how far out it is, the shuttle should run more regularly, say every 2-hours until like 9pm. (The service is available to pay for until 10pm so it wouldn't be putting them out by offering more shuttle options). Our only other issue was in the last couple of nights we had a group of very loud ladies put on either side of us. Rather than going to each other to speak they would yell across. They were also up until after 2am on the balcony listening to music and talking loudly over their music. This is by no means the hotels fault. It's rude, inconsiderate guests. But the sound was so loud in our room it just echoed through. We had early morning starts for tours so this was a pain. After the first night the lady at Reception did say we could call them and they would sort it out if they were making noise after 11pm. All in all a beautiful resort, fantastic staff and a great stay. Would definitely stay again if they offered the shuttle more often throughout the day and night

The breakfast was excellent, plenty to choose from and easy to use the facilities, staff were exceptional and always ready to help. The location was amazing right next to the beach. We asked for 3 ground rooms as we were meeting family and on the ground floor. We had 3 rooms together, two had a connecting door which made it easier for our two boys to stay with us. The cleaners were amazing and cleaned the rooms when we were ready rather than having to leave the room too early in the morning. My Mother in Law couldn't walk very well and couldn't walk up the hill next to the hotel to get to the resteraunt at the top of the hill so the staff arranged for her to be taken up by the hotel bus.

The hotel is great. The pool area is really nice and the service from the pool bar is brilliant. Sunsets and sunrises along the beach are stunning. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. The main area (Koh Samui- bars and restaurants) is a bit of a walk along the road (20 minutes) so we did end up taking a taxi a few times. But it’s shorter if you walk along the beach. We weren’t able to as the weather was a bit windy and the tide was always in. Breakfast was great lots of choice.

I thought the breakfast was very good. I liked the location of the resort, being at this end of Chaweng you are away from the hustle and bustle but only a short distance away and it is easily, and cheaply, accessible for evening and daytime visits. The resort also lays on a free shuttle bus a few times a day but you do have to book a seat, it can get busy, Also the staff are all very polite, friendly, welcoming and aim to please.

The whole resort was marvelous. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. It was my partner's 50th and they helped me arrange balloons a cake etc. absolutely brilliant. The location was ideal for us. All the guests were very respectful of each other and this is a family/adult resort. If you seek loud music late nights then this resort is not for you. However suited us perfectly. We would most definitely stay here again
